Installing an Extension
- 1Download a .zxp or .zxpinstall file from the extension's website.
- 2Open ZXP Magic and switch to the Install tab.
- 3Drag the file onto the drop zone — or click to browse.
- 4The extension is extracted to the CEP folder automatically.
- 5Restart your Adobe app to load the new extension.
Removing an Extension
- 1Go to the Library tab to see all installed extensions.
- 2Hover over an extension card — a Remove button appears.
- 3Or open the detail panel and click Remove Extension.
- 4Restart your Adobe app for the change to take effect.
CEP Debug Mode
- 1Go to Settings in ZXP Magic.
- 2Toggle on CEP Debug Mode.
- 3Adobe apps will now load unsigned (developer) extensions.
- 4Disable when done to restore normal security.
Extension Folders
- 1ZXP Magic reads user-level (%APPDATA%\Adobe\CEP\extensions) and system-level (Program Files) folders.
- 2New installs always go to the user-level folder — no admin rights needed.
- 3System-level extensions are shown as read-only.
- 4Click 'Open Folder' in Settings to jump to the user CEP folder.
